Isaiah 53:1-6; 1 Peter 2:21-25
53 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely, he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 22 "He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth." 23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

BLESSed to be a BLESSing
The Nursery is staffed today. Thank you, Melissa Schoneberg & Wyatt Bonnema. Please check your child in.
If you use the Nursery, please clean it up before you leave.
I want to thank each of you for your prayers and concern for my grandson, Hayden. He spent eight days in the hospital with RSV and pneumonia, and there were some scary moments. Through it all, I knew the Lord was with him and strengthening my daughter. I’m also deeply grateful that you allowed me to work from his hospital room. I am truly blessed to be part of this church family. — Jamie
UPDATE ON SAMARITAN’S PURSE TRIP: A recent conversation with Samaritan’s Purse headquarters provided new information: they only release specific dates and sites six months in advance. Because of that, we’ll need to wait until May to receive confirmed options for this fall and/or next January or February. Please continue keeping the trip in mind and heart as we aim to serve in October/November and/or January/February. As soon as SP releases the details, we’ll move quickly to get everything organized and pass the information along. The sign-up sheet will remain at the Connection Center for anyone who wants to indicate interest in serving.
March’s Ruby’s Pantry sign-up sheet is out at the Connection Center for Tuesday, March 10th. The Food Line Coordinator would like only a few people to be present at 1:00 p.m. to unload the truck. Unless you have signed up to unload the truck, please do not come until 2:00 p.m. for pre-bagging. There is also an early need for traffic control: we can utilize a few people early on and throughout the distribution - please refer to the sign-up sheet as well. Distribution will start at 4:00 pm. There will be a need for extra cookies and bars. If you can help out in this area, we’d sure love it! Thank you for volunteering! We will be serving snacks/treats, pizza, and have bottled water available. Please remember to wear closed-toe shoes. Thanks!
Your FRIENDLY REMINDER to continue giving to our missionary families, the Klompiens (Nepal) and the Helfers (South Africa). Please note "Missionary Families" in the memo line. Blessed to be a Blessing!

If you unhook the chairs in the sanctuary, you must hook them up again! this is a safety issue. Thank you.
Church Cancellation Policy Updated: In case of a tornado watch or warning, all church activities and church services will be canceled. This is because we do not have a basement. If school is cancelled, all activities at church will be canceled as well. The final decision to cancel a church service will be made by the Elders. The VP of Council/Elders will initiate the calls and process to other Elders for discussion. Once it is determined that the service will be canceled, efforts by the Elders will be made to contact the congregation.
Would you like access to the devotional offered by the church, please call 641-424-1369 or email the church secretary at racrcsec@msn.com.
Have you checked out Missionary Corner? There are updates from our missionaries, the Klompien's, and the Hefler's. Copies are available for reading. Please take one and see how they have been sharing Christ’s love and mission
Reminder if you borrow tables and chairs from the church, please remember to follow equipment borrowing procedures. Upon return, please make sure all items are clean and in good order.
There are activity bags available for the children, during worship service. They are located next to the coat rack in a bin.
Pray for Phyllis Lau as she navigates her journey with cancer; may she feel God’s peace and presence. Prayer for Howard & Coni Schulz in their absence, praying that they remain deeply connected to our fellowship through the Holy Spirit. Pray for our Ames Korean CRC Campus Ministry, may it be a lighthouse for young adults, providing them with a firm foundation and the wisdom to walk the right path. Resonate Global Ministry work and our missionary family, the Helfers, as they share Christ’s message in South Africa. May God protect them and bless their ministry as they share His love with the local community. And continue to pray earnestly for peace in the Middle East.

John 3:14-21
God's love is immeasurable, as seen in John 3:14-21. This lesson uses everyday objects like measuring cups, tape measures, and watches to illustrate that God's love cannot be measured. It's a love that's higher than the heavens, from everlasting to everlasting, and demonstrated through Jesus' sacrifice. Pray to understand and experience God's love, which is too great to fully comprehend.
Sometimes we measure ingredients. If I were making some cookies, which of these would I use to make sure that I put in exactly the right amount of flour, sugar, and milk? (Allow kids to pick between the measuring cup, a tape measure, and a watch.) That’s right, we would use a measuring cup for cookies, but I wonder if we might use a measuring cup to measure God's love? The Bible says, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want....my cup runneth over" (Psalm 23:1,5). Well, if our cup runs over with God's love, I guess we couldn’t use a measuring cup to measure it.
If we were building something, which of these would I use to measure the length, width, and height of different things? (Allow kids to pick between the measuring cup, a tape measure, and a watch.) That’s right, a tape measure, but I wonder if we might use a tape measure to measure God's love? The Bible tells us that God's love is higher than the heavens (Psalm 108:4). If God's love is higher than the heavens, I don't think we could use a tape measure to measure it, could we?
Which of these would I use to measure time? (Allow kids to pick between the measuring cup, a tape measure, and a watch.) We use a watch to measure time. There will probably be some people here this morning who will use their watches to measure how long the pastor's sermon lasts. I wonder if we could use a watch to measure how long God's love will last. The Bible tells us that God's love is from everlasting to everlasting (Psalm 103:17). Wow! If God's love is from everlasting to everlasting, I guess we couldn’t measure it with a watch.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). How do you measure a love like that? We can't measure it. We don't need to, but we do need to experience it.
My prayer for you today is, "That you may understand how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is. May you experience it, though it is so great you will never fully understand it" (Ephesians 3:18-19).
Dear God, we thank You for Your love—a love so great that You gave Your one and only Son so that we could have eternal life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
