CADETS is a boys’ club for 1st-8th  graders. The club meets every other Wednesday evening, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM from  September to May. Meetings include craft projects, games, merit badge  work, and a Bible lesson. There are also special activities such as a  fall outing, the Pine Wood Derby races and a spring camp out! Youth Groups

Junior High Youth Group: Grades 6th-8th prides itself in having fun in God’s House. We meet  every other Wednesday night from 6:15-8:00 PM. We play games, eat  food, and spend time in the word as we learn about Christ and what he  has in store for our lives! Other activities are scheduled throughout  the year as well.

Senior High Youth Group: High school students meet weekly to enhance their faith through  life-changing messages based on the Bible. We have an exciting ministry  for students in grades 9th-12th. High School students have a chance to  meet with other Sr. High students on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM in  fellowship and lesson. We focus on relationships with each other, and  most importantly the relationship with Jesus Christ! They are also  involved in community service projects, mission activities and social  events.

            Small Groups

            WHAT TO KNOW:

Small groups at RACRC are the framework/culture that ties into the vision for our church.  All small groups will have these 4 parts and they will look different in each group.

            1.  Being--Focus on building relationship with each other within the small group and our individual relationship with God.

            2.  Doing--Focus on an agreed upon task which will vary depending on the group type.  This part works towards reaching a common goal.  This could be a service project or an activity together.

            3.  Learning--Focus on a topic, curriculum, or other material.  These are the most common types representing this part.  Examples:  Devotional, Bible Study, or reading a certain passage.

            4.  Caring--Focus on providing support for each other within your group.  This can be done through prayer, listening, communication, time and other ways.  Caring is the center of our Small Group culture!

We have many types of Small Groups you can get involved with at RACRC!

              Praise Team

              Leading

Leading worship during Sunday morning service is our primary purpose and we LOVE it! We are here to praise our King and Ruler, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

              Learning

We aren't just here to lead, but also to learn. We strive towards excellence without the expectation of perfection as it says in Philippians 3:12-16. We also strive towards a better understanding of the Word of God. Continuing education is important to us, we have a lesson each week before rehearsal to learn things scripturally as well as musically.

              Loving

"How are you doing?" This is the first question you'll hear coming to rehearsal. We are a loving group, dedicated to the well being of each other.

              Living

Expect potlucks, special events, and fellowship time before and after rehearsal.  Sharing life is important, it is what makes us a tight-knit family! Our team strives to be a small community of musicians inside of the broader community of Rolling Acres.

              Join our Team!

If you would like to join the Praise Team or you know someone that want's to join, please let us know! We would love to get you involved!
